The Classic Cake Stand

Cake Stands are amongst my favourite pieces of decor. I love that they contain lovingly home baked or purchased treats, wonderful to share special birthdays and occasions including of course weddings and a lovely base for vessels, candles and fruit as well. So much love has gone into the design and creation of these. I wanted something unique yet timeless, classic and fun and am so proud of the finished products.

Handmade using locally sourced Australian Tasmanian Oak and finished 100% pure food safe Tung Oil. Hot branded with IvyAliceVintage Wood Design.

Measuring approx 29cm in diameter and 17cm tall. The glass dome pictured is 26cm diameter a standard size available in most kitchen stores that pairs beautifully with both the plain and scallop stand.

To care for wash after use with a mild dishwashing detergent and wipe with a brush/cloth. Dry immediately. DO NOT leave submerged under water and DO NOT put in the dishwasher. Ideally apply 100% pure Tung Oil (available nationwide at Bunnings) every few months Make sure the board is completely dry before applying oil and before using again and always follow product instructions. Try to keep in a well ventilated, dry location not exposed to direct sunlight.

Please note each item is handcrafted using locally sourced timber, making each piece truly one of a kind. Variations in wood grain, colour and texture are natural and to be expected. As a result, the item you receive may not look exactly like the image shown. These unique characteristics are a testament to the material and craftsmanship and they add to the individuality and charm of each piece.
