Handmade using locally sourced Victorian Ash Hardwood our end grain Butchers Blocks are perfect for those who love to cook. Dating back to well over 100 years ago when initially used by butchers the timber is joined together with the ends of the timber in vertical orientation. This orientation is what makes Butchers Blocks truly incredible as they are significantly gentler on knives. Each Piece is made to order, please note the lead time in each product description. Variations in wood grain, colour and texture are all part of the beauty of working with wood. As a result each piece is truly one of a kind and whilst each will be the same timber as listed products won't look identical to the images shown.
